Congrats to the Englewood Lady Rams on winning the TMSAA Class A Girls State Basketball Championship!!!

Cross Country (For 6-8 graders at Calhoun, EK Baker, Niota, Riceville, and Rogers Creek)

Cross Country for McMinn Middle West will host tryouts at a later date. Those interested in participating need to condition on their own by running 10-15 minutes or 2 miles at least 3 days per week.

Softball (For any 6-8^th grade girls that attend McMinn County or Etowah City schools)

Softball tryouts for upcoming 6th-8th grade girls will be held June 9th at 5:00 at McMinn County High School softball field. Social distancing and CDC guidelines will be followed. Please bring your own glove and water.

This year we will have virtual tryouts for the McMinn Middle School West Cheerleading squad. I plan on posting the videos for them to learn for tryouts on June 1st, and having the tryout videos be due on June 4th. More information can be found on our Facebook page:

Tennis (For any 6-8^th graders that attend McMinn County or Etowah City schools)

McMinn Middle school tennis tryouts for upcoming 6^th, 7^th and 8^th graders for the fall 2020 season will be held on Thursday, June 4 at the McMinn County High School tennis courts. Girls tryouts will be from 9:00-10:00 and boys will be held from 10:15 to 11:15.

Please be advised:

• All players need to bring a tennis racquet and water (please no flavored drinks).
• To ensure safety, please remind your child to remain at least 6 feet away from all coaches and players.
• Once tryouts are over, please leave immediately. Do not stand around and congregate.
