Members of the McMinn County Board Of Education were officially sworn in during a ceremony at the McMinn County Courthouse, formally beginning their service to the students, families, and staff of McMinn County Schools.
Taking the oath of office were Greg Sloan, Mike Cochran, Bill Irvin, John Ulrich, and Joe Malone. Together, these board members are charged with guiding the direction of the district: setting policy, supporting district leadership, and advocating for the needs of all nine McMinn County campuses.
The board's work touches every corner of the district from classrooms to athletics to long-term planning. McMinn County Schools thanks these members for stepping forward to serve and looks forward to a productive year ahead under their leadership.
