A huge thank you to Monica Shepherd Belcher and Justin Weir from Veterans Affairs!
McMinn PREP at Niota was honored to have them visit our after-school group. Mr. Weir shared about his time in the service and his work today, while Ms. Belcher taught students about the American flag and the proper ways to handle and retire/dispose of it.
Each child received a flag, and our students created special cards and banners to give in honor of Veterans Day.

All McMinn County Schools will be serving meals from 10:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday October 29th. Meals are available for all students under the age of 18. Meals can be picked up at the front entrance of each school.
